Glory and Fortune and Le Grand Fromage worked having cantered around the sand. The other horses put in some hard yards on the sand. 

Lamaver Storm and Ginflix both appear to be fine after their runs yesterday.

Leighton Aspell has decided to hang up his boots after racing at Fontwell tomorrow, another senior rider gone from the weighing room who’s services we had called upon previously. Leighton was my type of fella, no nonsense or talking for the sake of it, he spoke a lot of sense when he got off one and I’m sure will be missed by many including us. It really does feel like there is a changing of the guard of late in the weighing room. Senior jockeys are incredibly important, they are the role models for the future champions and any young lads trying to make there way.
