It is depressing how quickly time passes. February tomorrow.

Certainly the coldest morning this year, we are only able to use the woodchip, power harrowing the sand through the night is all well and good, but after working it that hard it would all be up the sides and the gallop would soon be ruined. The hill is always fine no matter how hard the frosts are. 

The horses catered quietly two, three or four times up the hill. It is very boring when the weather sets in but it looks as if it is only for a short period of time. If Sandown get the right end of the forecast, I think it has a chance. In the meantime, the horses will have an easier time of it.
