The heavens opened as soon as we arrived at Sedgefield, I walked the home straight an hour before racing and thought we would get away with it. However, by race time the rain had got into the ground which went against us. Furiously Fast jumped brilliantly, the softer ground found him out and he just didn’t quite get home on it in a truly run race. He is entered in the May horses in training sale and may run again before fulfilling that engagement.

This morning we schooled Kimberlite Candy, Pinnacle Peter, Cuirassier Dempire and Legal Exit. Lamanver Odyssey jumped 8 hurdles and Hag Stone kept her company.
