Quite canters for most of those that worked yesterday, a few that don’t go on the sand went up the hill and a few that don’t go up the hill stayed on the sand with the majority of the others.
In preparation for her trip north to Wetherby tomorrow, Isle of Ewe popped over 6 hurdles having had a canter. We will be putting some serious top spin on the ball tomorrow in the hope this amazing run of winners continues. Alberto’s Dream did it nicely again today at Warwick, Tommie knows the horses style of running and gave him a lovely patient ride getting him in to the right places at the right time. He will be up in grade now and the step up into 0-110 0-115 may not seem huge but it is for many horses. The weather will control his next run, if it continues to rain we may go again or we may be forced to let him off for the summer. Having won on all of his 4 starts for us, he owes us nothing and we owe him plenty.
Amadoue sold at Ascot sales this afternoon, I’m unsure of his future, but no doubt he will pop up on a racecourse or p2p track in the near future. I hope he provides his new owner with plenty of fun. The trade there was incredibly strong and it appears that if you do not own a racehorse at the current time you are seriously out of fashion, the demand for horses is just incredible. Let’s hope its last longer than Loom Bands!
