Polydora, Kateson, Vado Forte, Dorking Boy and Fair Kate all had a little blow on the hill after warming up on the sand. All the above horses head to Newbury tomorrow, to read my thoughts click here.

Neville’s Cross was in the process of running a super race only to miss the second last which naturally cost him everything. He is just a frame of a horse and one for further down the line. Lamanver Odyssey certainly showed more willing, we will hopefully find her a winning opportunity very soon. 

All those that have been away for Christmas seem to be making their way home this afternoon, according to my satnav the motorways were in gridlock, I now know Birmingham and the surrounding areas better than I did this morning.
