Bells on Sunday wondered what was happening yesterday, last time she went out in a lorry was to Aintree for a listed bumper, yesterday she went on a 12-mile fun ride around Herefordshire. She enjoyed herself and jumped everything not containing wire. She was, in fact, one of the few horses in control in our party, Tilly was galloping all over the place out of control, Sholto was chasing her as was Sophie. Panda whipped in out the back.

Matravers arrived her today, he hasn’t run for a while but was in training with Michael Stoute and rated 80 on the flat, he is by Oasis Dream. He will remain on the flat and I will now have to apply for my flat license. Thankfully, only a little bit of paper work is required.

Robert Chugg delivered a 3 year old filly by Midnight Legend to be broken-in.

I’m sure Colin Tizzard will be on the cider tonight!
