Lamanver Alchemy certainly ran well under a penalty, I would imagine the 1st and 2nd horse are above average, they both look as if they have the ability to go on and get black type. We will enjoy following their progress. Alchemy has done plenty of loose schooling so we will continue to concentrate on her jumping and look for a novice hurdle when she tells us she is ready for another run. Richard Jonhson was very complimentary about Alchemy and no doubt she will be in the winners enclosure again in not the too distant future.

For Racing Club members - there are 24 entries in Hag Stone's race on Tuesday, Noel Fehily has been booked to ride him. Noel is one of the best jockeys in the country.

Most of the horses had quiet canters on the woodchip this morning having worked yesterday. It seems a long time since 5.30 this morning so I'm off to bed....................
