Much has happened since we lost our BT fibre connection and no sign of it being resolved as yet. A new order was placed in our name. Sadly, it went to our neighbor who shares our postcode. The guys in India clearly struggle with English names as Derham and Lacey are very similar. Just to add to the frustration my mobile dongle failed and only this afternoon have I managed to spend sometime sorting it out. Having managed to make it work I think I’m a candidate for the chairman’s job at BT.
Mary Eleanor and David’s Phoebe have both won since my last blog. Mary Eleanor will now head to the paddocks as she sustained a tendon injury when winning at Newcastle. David’s Phoebe went up 5lbs in the handicap and will look for another opportunity in that grade.
The horses all seem well in themselves, Polydora and Jester Jet are both declared to run at Ascot tomorrow. As you would expect at this time of year, the races are competitive. both have live chances and we go there very hopeful of two big runs.
There seems to be divided opinion on the declaration of wind ops, if any punter wants to follow horses after they have had wind operations they will soon realize they would have been better off not knowing. Of course there will be winners post wind surgery but there will be many many more losers.
All the 3 year olds schooled over fences on the grass yesterday and did it nicely.
I am slightly out of kilter with the blogs, all being well, normal service can resume as of today.
