Arctic Sword and Kalahari Queen jumped 8 fences having cantered quietly around the sand for a couple of miles. All the other horses had canters up the hill or around the sand. All seem fit and well.

Lough Derg Leader goes to Kempton tomorrow; it is without doubt one of the most competitive handicaps you will see this season. He has form around the course and the horse he finished 2nd too at Kempton went on to run a nice race in a Grade 2 around Cheltenham. Lough Derg Leader has had a good break since Warwick and appears in good heart. He’s up 11lbs since his last win and will have to take his A game to the party. A drop of rain overnight would help him.
