Quite canters for most of the horses this morning, a couple had little blows on the hill and others put in some yards around the sand.

I couldn’t have been happier with Lady Cylla, she was always going to be ridden to be doing her best work at the end of the race and she certainly did that. She is a light farmed filly and was always going to have to learn her trade on the track, continually galloping at home would create a pencil like figure.

JohnBB goes to Market Rasen tomorrow, he has done plenty of graft at home and is ready to get his racing career started. He will improve mentally for his run and has come along way in a relatively short space of time. I’m looking forward to seeing him run, ultimately, in time, fences will bring out the best in him. His schooling is good and I would imagine he will get going over hurdles after tomorrow.

We has a nice morning at Newbury with Thomas Patrick.
