Routine canters for the horses this morning, all of the older horses that are racing fit have had a quiet enough week just to freshen up a little. Cheltenham sales this afternoon was as quiet as I’ve known it and there seemed to be a slow down for the form horse. I didn’t go around the horses so I’m not sure if it was the quality of stock on offer or people just sitting tight after Brexit.  We bought our two horses home, they will win plenty of races and I’m not giving them away, if I want to give them away we go to Ascot sales not Cheltenham.

Ginflix was disappointing but I wouldn't judge a horse on that surface or having her first run since crossing the channel. Lamanver Storm ran above my expectations, we always thought he’d be better with an obstacle in front of him and he will win his races further down the line. 

No runners tomorrow, I will be pleased to have a lye-in in the morning as I’ll be getting up at 4.45 instead of 3.45. Good night.
