Nothing too serious for any of the horses this morning, routine canters around the sand for a few and up the hill, others quiet canters just on the hill.

Flashing Glance is in good shape after his win at Ludlow yesterday. Not only were we delighted to get his head in front, I was very pleased to see him knuckle down in good fashion, we have always been frustrated with the way he has appeared to fold once headed. That trait seems to be behind him, he has certainly fought it out to the line on his last two runs.

Floating Rock and He’s a Goer go north to Catterick tomorrow, the jets will have to burn on the car again. I will head on to Newcastle tomorrow night as Kimberlite Candy has been declared in the Eider Chase. To read my thoughts click here

Enjoy the rugby.
