David Redvers was in for a couple of lots, he is in training for a charity race and will return tomorrow for 3 lots. A couple of weeks ago David very kindly sent me Lady Rebecca’s last foal to train, she is by Midnight Legend and we like her. We like her enough to select her work rider carefully. David rode a couple of older horses!

The gamble of running New Member back after only 5 days paid off, as mentioned in last nights’ blog, he hadn’t left a nut since Market Rasen and todays race looked too good an opportunity to pass by. Nico gave him a lovely ride and Tommie gets all the credit for the schooling of the horse. The quicker pace of the race suited him and he jumped with much more accuracy. Today proved a case of horses for courses, his best and only form prior to us buying him was in a Ludlow bumper. We will see where we are after the weekend and will hopefully, look to run him again while this weather holds. I will be scrolling through racing admin tonight looking for Ludlow fixtures.  His owners are all local and it is just an added bonus to win for them on a local track.
