Very Intense spent the day in the sunshine and seems fine this morning.

It has been a long day, all horses cantered various distances on the deep sand gallop. Mr and Mr Newell were here to see their Sulamani gelding who is going to Doncaster May sale. He’s a full brother to Spirit of Shankly and a half brother to Bells on Sunday. He is without doubt a runner. Sulamani sired the Grand National winner this year and I’m sure he will be popular at the sale.

After the work was completed for the morning Frank and I took Russian Service and Lamanver Odyssey up to Cheltenham, both had a lunge and a pick of grass before being put to bed. I will be there early to get them vetted before heading of to Exeter. We then set off to collect 2 unruly 2 year olds who will do a few weeks work before getting the summer at grass. Unruly, maybe a little understated, I think I saw a bead of sweat on Frank after we had finally persuaded them onto the lorry, I was certainly warm.

Chase End Charlie and Triopas run at Exeter tomorrow, Chase End Charlie in the 1st and Triopas in the last. Both have chances, on paper CEC has 1 to beat and Triopas has plenty. It will be an early start and a late night hence no blog. Its bed time!
