Todays rain was most welcome, it wasn’t a huge amount but enough to get us wet and settle all the dust. Isle of Ewe and Katie Kilminster swung through on the woodchip Hag Stone sat in behind in preparation for his outing at Worcester on Sunday. All the 3 year olds cantered a mile on the dust free sand gallop before jumping over poles and hurdles with jockeys on their backs in the ménage. All did it beautifully. A couple had a good look but we didn’t have an unseated rider or a refusal. This time next week they will all be jumping a fence! It was too wet for any photos or videos. iPhones and water do not mix.

The dentist was back again catching up with the latest recruits and a few that have come back into training.
