Brandon Hill has come out of his Newbury win in good heart and spent the day in the field. The tortuous drive to Wincanton from Herefordshire was worth it. Chase End Charlie stuck his head out and won under Tom Scu who gave him a smashing ride, he is not a kids ride and Tom got a tune out of him. He is a frustrating monkey with ability. Hopefully, todays win will give him the confidence to progress.

Having started very early this morning I am relived to come in the house having put the hurdles on the schooling strip and harrowed the gallops tonight. All being well Bells On Sunday can keep the ball rolling and win at Chepstow tomorrow. She will love the mud and I question whether or not she truly stays 3 miles at this stage of her life.
