Quiet canters for the horses this morning. The day was taken over by Sioned who rode her first winner on her own horse at Ffos Las, I take absolutely zero credit. Sioned does him before work starts, in her lunch time and after work. The only thing I have done is press a few buttons on the computer and fed him every morning if Eamonn has gone to the stable next door. A fab day for Sioned and one she will never forget. Let’s hope she can keep the ball rolling if Dorking Boy runs in the ladies race at Huntingdon on Saturday.
Bernard Whittle-Williams (part owner of Kateson, Fair Kate and Vado Forte) is beside himself with excitement that a Welsh Whittle has ridden a winner, Sioned is unaware but has been adopted by a very proud Welsh crofter who’s desperate to give her a kiss. He has history!
