The morning got off to a bad start when one of the lads crashed his car into a tree on our lane; thank god the tree was there otherwise he’d still be rolling. Ledge took him to hospital and he is fine apart from being badly shaken. Ledge, ever the opportunist decided to book himself into A&E too, he has a sore ankle. The doctor told him he is getting old and the damaged ligaments will take a while to heal. I suspect he wished he hadn’t bothered!
Michelle, Joe, Callum and I had a good few extra lots but like any good team we got through them. We all need a team and good people behind us. I’m lucky to have both. All the horses cantered on the woodchip or the sand. Although, we still have a couple with weeping eyes they seem to be turning the corner with this head cold they’ve been suffering with.
Simon Sweeting and I are off to watch the rugby, Gloucester v Worcester.
