Lough Derg Leader ran a solid race and will come on for the experience. I was delighted with his performance but gutted he bumped into one other. The horses are all where we want them for the time of year and given ground conditions. They are coming out of their races bright and well. Leaving Kempton last night made me think how lucky we are to live in the countryside, the traffic getting into London was queued for miles. I certainly would not enjoy spending my Sunday evenings sat in that. Marcelle got home just after 10 having been held up by an accident and sent on a diversion.

Typical Monday morning canters for all horses. We have a quiet week on the racing front, no runners until Sunday when Amalfi Doug may try and grab the last bit of fast ground at Wincanton.
