This morning all horses had routine canters those heading to Doncaster tomorrow had little blows on the hill. To read my thoughts on them click here.
Cheltenham was very sobering. Thankfully, I bumped into a few trainers who weren’t rushing about as they normally would be and had some good chats with them. Tea Clipper gave a very good account of himself and may even have finished second had he not had to swerve around the faller at the last. Tea Clipper has been ridden by Eamonn for the guts of two seasons and credit must go to him for all his hard work. It pains me to be happy with a third but after all it is the Cheltenham festival and getting a rosette is no easy task. Seeing one of our p2p graduates in Sky Pirate winning at the festival added some extra pleasure to the day.
