I think we all expected that racing would be behind closed doors sooner rather than later and it has to be a proactive move to keep the wheels turning. The horror stories I’m hearing about businesses suffering in light of he Corona virus is just chilling. I think, given we function outdoors is a huge advantage. We can only hope racing can continue behind closed doors for as long as required and we can continue to earn our crust when others are so fortunate. Point to pointing looks as if it is going to struggle to continue. Should that be the case, we went out with nice double at Larkhill yesterday winning two of the three maidens. Had I known it was going to pour with rain all day we could have had a go at winning the three. We left Scipion at home based on good ground being given.

The weekend runners are all in good shape this morning and had quiet canters up the hill. Typical Monday morning canters for the other horses, Swift Wing and Fair Kate jumped eight hurldes. Fair Kate heads to Taunton tomorrow, to read my thoughts click here
