Triopas got stuck in the mud at Towcester yesterday, he handles the soft but it has become very apparent he can’t cope on the heavy. We decided that Alberto’s Dream owed us nothing and that to run him on consecutive days was just a bit too much given the heavy ground at Towcester. He is fine after his Huntingdon win.

The sales went well last night, I thought Port of Mars was very well bought and just lacked a bit of star quality for that sale. He will win his races, he wouldn’t know how to give up and would gallop all day long. Interconnected was very well received and has gone to Nicky Henderson’s. As always, let’s hope they both go on for new connections and win plenty of races between them.

Equus Amadeus and Sebastopol are declared to run at Kempton tomorrow, the rain and snow need to stay away. Coningsby goes to Uttoxeter who inspect at 8 A.M and rain and snow there overnight could put a spanner in that too.

A bit of a rushed blog tonight as I have to be somewhere for 7 pm.
