Alberto’s Dream completed the hat-trick in 9 days this afternoon at Huntingdon. The handicapper won’t like it and life will become very tough indeed for him now. He is declared to run at Towcester tomorrow. We will see how is in the morning before making a final decision, if he eats up and is sound he will run if I have anything to do with it. He won’t get into this grade of race again and needs to capitalize on every opportunity he gets presented with.

I have spent the day at Cheltenham dealing with the vetting’s and showing Interconnected and Port of Mars. Both horses sailed through the vets and have been well received. It will be a busy morning there tomorrow and I expect fireworks in the ring for some of the horses in the evening.

Blackbow ran a super race in the bumper finishing 5th, there was no pace on which I don’t think aided his chances at all and he didn’t have the clearest of runs. It will be interesting to see how the bumper works out, they crawled and some horses may have been flattered. I’m sure Willie Mullins is looking forward to putting a hurdle in front of him and ultimately a fence.
