Equus Amadeus won nicely at Uttoxeter this afternoon, he is a joy to train, he has all the attributes a racehorse needs, he eats, gallops, jumps and sleeps. I’m sure he will give us all many fun days in the future and won’t reach his true potential until he gets a fence in front of him. He’s only 4 and an exciting prospect for the yard. I have had horses for the lads that make up Galloping on the South Downs for 12 years. Prior to taking out my trainers license I broke-in and pe-trained all their horses before they went into training. They have been wonderful, loyal supporters of mine, for which I am most grateful.

Yesterday we worked Vado Forte, Sword of Fate, Mary Eleanor, Thomas Patrick, Cora Sundrop, Kimberlite Candy, Kates Son and a few unnamed horses.

This morning we schooled Mary Eleanor, Vado Forte, unnamed 3-year-old by Arcadio and Thomas Patrick over hurdles. All 4 horses jumped nicely, Vado Forte has an entry at Worcester on Monday.
