After three very enjoyable and spoiling days at Cheltenham it was back to business this morning. We schooled Thais Toir, Swift Wing, Black Anthem, Yes No Maybe So, Kateson, Kynance Cove and Floating Rock over hurdles. A couple of horses jumped a few fences. Kimberlite Candy, Lamanver Storm, Lagonda, Polydora, Christopher Robin, Le Grand Fromage, Fair Kate, Dorking Boy and Dorking Rogue all worked.

Cheltenham this year has been outstanding, I’m not sure if it was because I was there for the first three days and really got into it rather than fleeting in and out of the house to watch races as I have done in previous years. The racing was simply top class with so many exciting finishes. I could have cried for Jamie Moore and his family. Having previously, worked with Gary for years on equine nutrition I know them all well. I watched Jamie and Ryan riding out when they were kids and still speak to Gary either at race meeting or on the phone discussing one thing or another. You wouldn’t meet a more down to earth or harder working family and for them to suffer that bad luck was just incredibly cruel.

Kateson and Unohu head to Uttoxeter tomorrow, to read my thoughts click here

I am delighted to report that £750 went off to Katharine House Hospice earlier in the week. £500 raised through my thoughts page and additional donation of £250 form a follower who has done very well. Thank you all very much for all your support for a very worthy cause
