Normal service resumed for Willie Mullins on day one, what a great days racing it was.

Vado Forte is in great shape after his win at Taunton yesterday, I don’t think we will rush him back under a penalty, he is a horse I have always held in high regard. Giving him time will only reward us and another summer under his belt will do him no harm at all. He had a hard enough race there yesterday.

Alberto’s Dream will try to make it 3 wins in 10 days at Huntingdon tomorrow, you never really know until you try. He hasn’t left a nut since he last ran and has done very little in between runs. He has course form and it would be a serious feather in his cap if he can manage it.

Colt Lightning went up 9lb for his Hereford win which I, of course, think is harsh.
