The weather gods did listen, what a beautiful day. Managed to mow all the lawns and the boys are busy creosoting the paddocks. Given the next 48 hours forecast I think we will be heading to Uttoxeter on Saturday night with Man O’ Words and Adeenne des Sevres. Tomorrow evening Triopas runs in the p2p bumper at Aintree. He has been on the go a long time now but appears to be fresh and well. A few late nights ahead.

On Sunday we head to Doncaster May sales with 4 store horses, all of which are racehorses and they deserve to make their money. I will be there for the horses in training section and have my eye on one or two. If anyone is interested in having a leg or 2 in a horse with me please get in touch.  

Most horses had quiet canters this morning around the sand and up the hill once or twice. Alan and Trea Newell were here to see their store horse before he heads to Doncaster, he’s a full brother to Spirit of Shankly, half brother to Bells on Sunday and looks a real hardy type who will win his races.
