Dear weather gods, we’ve had enough rain now and some sun would make us all feel better, thank you.

Phil came up from Cornwall to collect Lamanver Odyssey, she has gone off for her summer holidays. She did everything asked of her this time around finishing 3^rd on her first run and winning her 2^nd. Pinnacle Peter also headed off for his summer holidays. Both horses will benefit for a summer under their belts.

Man O’ Words, Triopas and Aspergillum swung through on the woodchip twice having had a canter on the sand. Triopas heads to Aintree on Friday night for the p2p bumper. He was just getting into it at Exeter a couple of weeks ago when stumbling and losing his jockey. Man O’ Words and Adeenne des Sevres will go to Uttoxeter on Saturday if the ground is good or faster. Aspergillum is in at Bangor a week Saturday.

This afternoon, I went to Chepstow to support Anti and Kelsey in their charity race. Kelsey finished full of running, gave Anti a great thrill and helped raise some money for charity.
