Sir Egbert was just starting to roll when he all but got bought down at the 2nd last at Kempton today, he has come a long way and has learnt to race properly now. Joe has done a great job with him at home - he hasn’t been the easiest of horses to ride.

This morning, Kateson, He’s a Goer, Dorking Cock, Vado Forte, Jester Jet, The Last of Them, Colt Lightning and Polydora all schooled over varying numbers of hurdles. Those that didn’t school had quiet canters around the sand or up the hill.

Tomorrow, Jester Jet, Vado Forte and Triopas all run at Warwick. We are searching for that all important black type for Jester Jet, she appears well after her break but will need her A game to get on top of a couple of others in the race. She schooled with real enthusiasm this morning and we are looking forward to seeing her run. Vado Forte is up 10lbs for his last win at Warwick and should remain competitive. Triopas owes us nothing, the ground and the 3.2 mile trip of will suit him, Tommie knows him as well as anyone and takes a valuable 5lbs off his back.

The only draw back of a fantastic days racing is I will miss England hammer Wales in the 6 nations.
