We rode Chase End Charlie too handy and paid the price, frustrating for us all. Mary Eleanor made a nice debut finishing 3^rd beaten a head and a short head. No one expects that in a national hunt bumper, those winning distances are more suited to flat racing. Naturally we were delighted with her run but hugely disappointed to finish 3^rd having run so well.

Tomorrow Agamemmon and Brandon Hill go to Kempton, both horses are well and should  give a good account of themselves.
