Things finally came right for Triopas, he loved the slower conditions and his jumping stood him in good steed, he jumped and galloped the others into submission. I hope he can build on todays run. He travelled home amazingly well, he would normally sweat in the lorry on the way home but was dry as a bone this evening. It would be nice to think todays win will do him the world of good and he can move forward without any of the nonsense we have had to manage previously.
Vado Forte has a long way to go yet, he has to learn to settle, experience will be the answer. I wouldn’t be writing him off under any circumstance, he will reward us in time and is a horse I have always thought a huge amount of.
The Last of Them heads to Newbury tomorrow, he is a huge unit who hasn’t taken time to come to hand and has to start somewhere, Newbury bumpers always attract good horses and he won’t be out of place, he is the most gorgeous individual who could have topped a sale had he ever been offered for sale.
This morning all the 3 year olds schooled over fences and are progressing nicely in that sphere.
