A very busy morning schooling, we schooled Triopas, Polydora, Pinnacle Peter, Pinnacle Panda, Kimberlite Candy, Shining Shire, Russian Service, Amalfi Doug, Chase End Charlie, Brandon Hill, Agamemmon, Bells on Sunday and Sir Egbert over hurdles. Many were getting off the ground for the first time since their summer break and all jumped beautifully. We have a lovely bunch of horses to race this season, there is plenty to look forward to. However, we all know how much water has to pass under the bridge before we get that far and how difficult it is to win a race at any level.

New Member, a 3-year-old filly by Getaway, 3-year-old geldings by Scorpion and Midnight Legend all jumped in the ménage with jockeys on their backs for the first time. Those that didn’t school all had quiet canters around the sand.

Guy Roberts was here tonight with another member of his partnership, I must say the people in the partnership are an absolute delight. I hope New Member can give them some fun.
