A long drive home from Market Rasen yesterday, Neville’s Cross appeared fine after his fall, that was not expected and I’ve no idea what he was thinking. His schooling at home is super and Stan was heard to say he’d jump around the Golden Button having schooled him. Thankfully, he seemed fine and will bounce back. San Agustin ran a more promising race and will have leant a little bit more. I think the sharp track and getting in tight to the last two hurdles didn’t help and ultimately cost him the race. He was outpaced leaving the back but came home strongly, he can go one better next time.
