Bells on Sunday has come out of Aintree in good shape, she will now head to the field for her holidays. It is getting to that time of year when a few of them have been on the go for a while now and the fields are calling. Pinnacle Panda goes to Aintree tomorrow after which he too will deserve his holiday.  Newcastle was a poor performance but I’m not sure if he ran like a horse who’s had enough or was disappointed by being taken back 3 out when he looked to be traveling nicely. We have opted to put blinkers on him tomorrow in the hope he travels better in the early part of the race. There is rain forecast overnight in Liverpool all of which will help him.

Even Willie Mullins has bad days, no one likes to see it but it does make us realize he to is susceptible to the ups and downs of this very tough game.

This morning we took Man O’ Words and Chase End Charlie for an away gallop, Chase End has an entry at Cheltenham next week and Man O’ Words Ayr at the weekend.

It is not hard to spot but I tip Ryan Hatch as the next Dickie Johnson. He has improved so much it is incredible. I know he’s riding good horses but he’s grabbed his opportunities with both hands and made a real fist of it. Others too get the chances to shine but I’ve not seen anyone else shine quite like him.
