Quiet enough morning for those that worked yesterday, we popped Brandon Hill and a Kalanisi filly over a line of fences. The Kalanisi filly was doing it for the first time and jumped incredibly well. Brandon jumped in his usual foot perfect fashion. Space Safari jumped a line of fences on the strip with Amadoue before jumping a couple of island fences. Robert Chugg was here to see his filly in action.
This afternoon, I went to see George Snell’s youngsters, a couple may possibly head to Goffs UK in May. I also had a tour of his wood production business, it is some major operation and quite mind blowing how much work goes into the production of dry kilned firewood, kindling and flamers. There is little if any waste, any bi product of any of the processes is used to manufacture another product or to generate heat. Please click on the links to place your orders.
Tomorrow, Mary Eleanor makes her debut at Huntingdon in the second division of the mare bumper. She is out of the amazing race mare Lady Rebecca by Midnight Legend. Chase End Charlie is up 5lbs for his win at Wincanton and heads to Doncaster, he has always performed well at Doncaster and will hopefully put up a decent showing tomorrow too.
