The Big Bite spent the morning in the paddock enjoying the sunshine, he seems to have come out of his race in good heart.

We worked Kimberlite Candy, Agamemon, Chase End Charlie, Equus Amadeus, Jester Jet, Kalahari Queen and Super Sid, the others all had routine canters around the sand or up the hill.

Naturally, the press and racing channels are all gearing up for the Cheltenham festival next week. The ground will surely be the softest it has been for some years. There is another heap of rain tonight and into tomorrow. It is sure to be a fantastic few days even though many of the star attractions will be missing. Daphne Du Clos became the latest to be ruled out of the festival along with Faugheen, Annie Power, Min, Getabird and of course the mighty Thistle Crack. I will get a day or 2 in at the races as we will be there with Sky Pirate who is going to the festival sale.
