The amount of dust on the office floor will take some sweeping up, Nocte Volatus looked to have the closers covered when stepping at the second last giving Dylan a heavy fall. Glory and Honour did the same at the third flight in Musselburgh making for a long drive home with a long face. Certainly, a weekend to put behind us. The rugby wasn’t much better, a short period of play with some bad decisions cost England the win over Scotland. Every cloud has a silver lining with Ireland thrashing Wales. My Welsh mates have been very quiet since Saturday!

The Dublin racing festival moves to Gloucestershire next month and no doubt much of the bounty will be heading back over the Irish sea. Several of those grade 1 winning horses were there to be bought at auction. Complaining about the quality of horses in Ireland when compared to those in England is only nonsense.
