A bitterly cold morning, all those that worked yesterday cantered a couple of miles on the sand, Carl Evans was here to do a feature on us for Owner Breeder next month. Any journalist who can ride out 4 lots is always welcome, his impression of a sniper lying in ditches and on banks to take photographs wasn’t as welcome. Even less so, given I was riding the lead horse! Luckily, I’m long gone from the age when I’d worry about how stylist I look on a horse. 

Rachel has returned from her back packing adventure, this afternoon has been spent catching up on paper work and watching Sholto play hockey.
