The rain certainly arrived at Aintree on Saturday. I thought Kimberlite Candy gave a good account of himself, Pounding Poet was beaten on the bob of a head and Cruz Control ran very well losing nothing in defeat. All the runners are in good shape after their efforts.

A poll was reportedly put out on social media regarding the best horse to have started life in UK point to points, they failed to included Energumene who destroyed horses around Cork yesterday. Visually he may not have looked that impressive but if one looks at the good horses walking home behind him he destroyed them, Notebook will never be the same again. I know who is the top of my list of UK p2p horses.
