Pounding Poet and King Ferdinand schooled over hurdles. Those in training breezed through on the woodchip twice. I had a journey to Leicestershire returning Ginny’s Destiny to his owners. Ginny’s Destiny is a horse who has done plenty and been given time, we never intended to run him this time and is one to keep dreaming about.
Forchena got her head back in front today for Eamonn. All credit to Eamonn, he does her before work every day and has done a fabulous job getting her ready to win first time up after a break. Every winner is special but when you see someone who works as hard as Eamonn it is even more rewarding. No one deserves success more, he’s the first man in and the last one out everyday of the year. All I have done is press a few buttons on the computer and fed her on the very very rare occasion Eamonn is not here. A great day for him, richly deserved and lovely for Tommie to be up on her back.
Market Rasen tomorrow for Algesiras, Neville’s Cross and San Agustin, to read my thoughts click here.
