Yesterdays runners are all in fine shape. We are sitting on the fence for a day or 2 before we decide whether or not to run any of them again or let them down for the summer. We won’t have much to run through the summer months, Very Intense will keep at it and possibly Cuirassier Dempire will come back for the better ground once he’s grabbed a holiday.

I have just watched Ryan Moore ride a winner for The Queen at Chester. I have been lucky to see many great flat jockeys riding but Ryan Moore is in a class of his own. Jason Maguire has been forced to retire through injury, yet another top class rider lost to NH racing.
