I suppose we should be happy having had two seconds today and a third. Isle of Ewe ran a blinder and just bumped into one on the day. Isle of Ewe's owners missed the race having been caught up in the carnage on the M6 and had to listen to it on a hot line to the bookies. She's a horse to look forward to and once she gets a hurdle in front of her she will be winning races. Legal Exit ran well finishing third, he jumped brilliantly and Tommie gave him every chance, he will get his turn if Mary chooses to carry on with him, we all know the problems he is faced with. If we go again we will find him an easy 2 miles and the handicapper needs to help him. Hag Stone ran a little green and the race got away from him, he ran on in good fashion and there are plenty of positives to take from his run. We will see how he comes out of the race and journey before deciding whether or not to give him another run before tunring him out for a summer break, while he is fit and well I would like to further his education. It is winners we want and I don't like being 2nd or 3rd, better than 4th or 5th I guess. The horses are well and running great so we have a lot to be grateful for.
My favourite program is back - Peaky Blinders, sky plus is on pause. I will be watching that before checking the horses and heading to bed.
