Silk Run is fine this morning, she all but licked a hole in her feed bowl last night – not a crumb in sight this morning. She’s due a man hug in the morning. I'm sure Pete will be ordering at least one copy of the photo below. 

Equus Amadeus and Goodwyn the Great went for an away day, both horses worked nicely and jumped a line of hurdles on the way home. Equus Amadeus may head to Perth to run over hurdles in a 30k handicap on 18^thAugust. 

Last night, I certainly had India as red hot favorites to win the first test but not even King Kohli could cope with the English attack. Sam Curran take a bow – man of the match on his debut. Absolutely fantastic with a huge future ahead of him. I will be looking forward to Thursday when the next test gets underway. 

I love the sun but it is starting to take its toll on me and the paddocks.
