Silk Run, Colt Lightning, Coningsby, Polydora, King Spirit, Muse of Fire, The Last of Them and David John all worked, the others put in hard yards around the sand or breezed up the hill.

Triopas runs at Uttoxeter tomorrow, we don’t think he has handled the very soft ground he’s encountered with his last 2 runs over hurdles. It has been a long season for Triopas and one always worries that he may have had enough racing this time around. He seems in good order at home and will appreciate the better ground on offer. but you just don’t know until you run them if they are over the top. He owes us nothing and will get his summer holidays after tomorrows run.
