Legal Exit and Hag Stone head north to Carlisle tomorrow. Legal Exit has had wind issues and has had all the surgery possible, tomorrow he will get fast ground which should help him. If not, he will be found another job. In his younger days before his wind went, Jim Culloty thought he was going to be an Arkle horse – such a shame for everyone. Tommie takes 7lbs off his back giving him every last chance. Hag Stone appears fresh and well, he has been in a long time now and will get a break after tomorrow. Isle of Ewe goes to Uttoxeter and will get her chance to shine on better ground too.

I spent most of the day trying to get my power washer working some distance away from the socket, I hadn’t realised how much power they require which drops the longer the extension lead, fuses blow in sockets etc, I pretty much wasted the morning messing around with it. Generators were borrowed and new extension leads purchased at great expense to no avail.
