Quiet canters for those that worked yesterday and a little more for a few others. This afternoon we have another fair drop of rain and within an hour the roads were running like steams again. The ground is absolutely saturated around here. I am probably one of the few, if not, the only trainer wanting more rain for Cheltenham. Adrimel looks like being our only runner, he copes on heavy ground when others possibly don’t cope so well. Depending on what you read and believe, the Coronavirus is the biggest danger of destroying the meeting. I’ve made a conscious decision not to read about it in the media. They seem hell bent on reporting all the negatives around the virus and quite simply are not educated or well enough informed to pass comment.
