Routine canters this morning around the sand and up the hill. 

JohnBB couldn’t go a yard on deep holding ground, Robbie Power said he felt as if his legs were tied together. I am disappointed with myself as he didn’t go a yard on that ground on that track over hurdles. We thought we may get away with it on the chase track but I should have known better than to believe the official going description of Soft Good to Soft 60/40 on the chase track. Perhaps the local village idiot was sent to walk it and report back to someone who could type. I blame myself entirely, I know what Sandown ground can become but I don’t expect to be mislead to such a degree by a going description. I think I’ll leave it there!
