We schooled 2 unnamed 4 year olds over fences, Robbie Dunne and Joe Drinkwater were test pilots. Chase End Charlie, Kelsey and Pinnacle Panda over hurdles. All the 3 year olds cantered around the sand gallop and then jumped poles and hurdles in the menage. Mrs Newell was here to see her Black Sam Bellamy filly.
As predicted, Kelsey got ballotted out at Chepstow tomorrow. He will now hopefully head to Lingfield a week today. Lingfield holds very good memories for us as Trouble Digger ran the race of his life there hammering Penmore Mill in a huntercahse.
Looking at Yanworth win at Exeter today I'm pleased we decided to leave Pinnacle Panda at home. The ground looked as I thought and Very Intense would have hated it, he will now go to Southwell on Monday. We took Proximo to Exeter on soft ground a few years ago and Exeter soft is like heavy in many other places.
Lamanver Alchemy has 16 rivals and it is sure to be competitive. She is in good shape.
Singlefarmpayment went up 7 to 125.
