Typical Monday morning canters for the horses yesterday. I headed off to Robert Alner’s memorial. As one would imagine it was jammed packed, it really was a celebration of life given what he had coped with over the last twelve years. It was good to see some faces I don’t catch up with very often. I then made my way to Kingham for a Cheltenham preview evening with a difference in The Wild Rabbit. Charlie Brooks was compare and full of wise cracks which made for a very enjoyable evening. I was far too late to bed and had horses off site this morning.

We worked Adrimel, Polydora, Kateson, Vado Forte, Lamanver Storm, Kimberlite Candy, Swift Wing and Thomas Patrick. The others all had routine canters. Four unnamed horses went to Lambourn to use the back of the hill all weather and jump some fences away from home.
