Typical Monday morning canters for the majority of the horses, Stung for Cash and Kateson jumped some hurdles on the grass, Polydora had a little blow on the hill.

Velasco showed a little more of what we expected on his homework, he was unlucky to bump into one. There are no easy races now, he will win his races and still has a lot of growing up to do. I was delighted to see him finish out his race as I was seriously disappointed with him after Uttoxeter. Fair Kate found Hereford a little on the sharp side and wants more juice in the ground. Hereford went form soft to good to soft in five hours this morning and it dried out more as the day went on.

I know nothing about broadcasting or the cost of getting it into homes. Racing, surely needs to capitalize on the current lock down situation and get as much racing into as many homes as possible in the hope of encouraging people into our wonderful sport.

Polydora heads to Exeter tomorrow, to read my thoughts click here
